Seeraga Samba (Seera) is the most expensive rice grown. It has ovular grain and has a distinct taste with starch flavour.
The grain is much harder than the other types. On the contrary, it looks less fluffy and loose when cooked.

It helps to fight cancer, reduces cholesterol, keeps heart attack at bay and cures constipation.
It can be consumed as plain rice with sambar, curries and good to make Briyani.
