Kadukkai is considered as an effective remedy for many health issues in Ayurveda. Its is known to work against all three doshas namely, Vatha, Pitha, and Kapha. It is one of the three ingredients, which is used to make Triphala. Gargling with the decoction of Kadukkai Powder soothes the throat. Combining with water and drinking before meals can act as a digestive aid and as a boon for promoting absorption of nutrients.
